Dunno if I pronounced it wrong or right.
The cast. The story. The revenge. The bitter ending. And the angry lost girl.
She is everything problematic.
She killed her sister by pushing her off the cliff.
She married a man her sister was engaged too because she “loved” him.
But that was not love.
She was obsessed.
Getting what she wants even by force
And that suits perfectly well with a man who is not a powerful decision maker.
It was a marriage between a woman who was obsessed and a man who was just living.
Emra said you married a dead man meaning he didn’t really cared who he married, because the woman he loved, denise died.
But guess what.
Unhealthy obsession is disastrous.
Obsession is not admiration.
Whenever obsession has to be traded off with self respect.
Choose self respect. Don’t beg for the attention or admiration of others.
Never ask for anyone’s approval.
But she never get that.
Ezgi never realized that she is running around in circles.
Emra didn’t love or care for Ezgi at all.
Emra didn’t care for anything.
Don’t hold onto something or someone that doesn’t want to or never wanted to stay.
The revenge Denise took by being elif was ADMIRABLE. She changed everything about her and changed her kindness into strength.
But the beauty of it is her obsession.
That in the end of this english subtitled Turkish series, when death is lingering on to her, and when all of her evil and selfish actions are reflecting on her she says if she had the chance she would do it all over again.
Be the same insane obsessive damaging woman who not only harms herself but others too in order to get what she wants.
Ezgi is between everything from hate worthy to sad proving that even death would not make her mend her ways.
